Who can enter
Anyone, anywhere in the world, 13 or older: independent or signed, emerging or established, any genre. If you have a song on Spotify or Apple Music and a free SpinCounts account, you can enter. If you're under 18, you'll need a parent or guardian's OK (they need to read the rules and agree to your entry). Managers and label reps can enter for an artist they're authorized to represent. You also need to follow @spincountsofficial on Instagram. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. See the official rules.
How to enter
- Follow @spincountsofficial on Instagram. It's required to enter. We check the winner's follow before awarding the prize, so stay followed until the winner is confirmed.
- Drop your track link. Paste a Spotify or Apple Music link to the song you want to enter.
- Add your details. Your name, artist or stage name, date of birth, country, Instagram handle and a valid email (under 18? we'll also ask for a parent or guardian's name and OK). We use that email to set up your free SpinCounts account (or sign you in if you already have one).
- Submit. Agree to the rules, hit enter, and check your inbox to confirm.
What every entrant gets
Whether you win or not, you get a free SpinCounts artist page and a free airplay report, sent to you by email. Your page is where your song's airplay and analytics live. If no stations have played your song yet, your report will say so, and it updates as plays are tracked.
Key dates (all times Eastern Time)
- Entries open: Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 10:38 AM ET
- Entries close: Sunday, November 29, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET
- Random draw: Monday, November 30, 2026
- Winner notified by email: by 11:59 PM ET on Monday, November 30, 2026
- Winner must reply to claim: by Tuesday, December 8, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. If we don't hear back, we contact up to two alternates in turn, starting Wednesday, December 9, 2026. If no winner is confirmed by Tuesday, December 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET, the prize isn't awarded.
