Cookie Notice

This Cookie Notice describes the cookies and similar technologies used on SpinCounts.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use sessionStorage and localStorage — similar browser-storage technologies — for some features.

2. Cookies & Storage We Use

Name	Purpose	Type	Duration
wordpress_logged_in_*	Keeps you logged in	Necessary	Session / 14 days "Remember me"
wp-settings-*	Stores admin UI preferences	Necessary	1 year
pmpro_visit (PMPro)	Membership flow continuity	Necessary	Session
sc-player-state (sessionStorage)	Keeps the live audio player running across page navigation	Functional	Session (cleared on tab close)
sc_install_dismissed_at (localStorage)	Remembers that you closed the "Install SpinCounts" banner so it stays hidden	Functional	Until you clear it (banner hidden for 30 days)

3. Third-Party Cookies

If you visit a SpinCounts page that loads a third-party widget (Stripe checkout, embedded Chart.js or Leaflet from a CDN), that third party may set its own cookies governed by its own policy. When you press Play, the station's live stream loads from the station's own streaming server (or the service it uses), which may also set its own cookies under its own policy.

4. Your Choices

• You can clear cookies and browser storage at any time using your browser's privacy controls.
• Disabling necessary cookies will break login, checkout, and the audio player.
• We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
• Audio ads in our player do not set cookies or save anything in your browser.

5. Updates

We will update this notice if we add or remove cookies. The Effective Date at the top reflects the most recent change.
