Song promotion services that show you every play

Most song promotion services sell you reach you can't check. SpinCounts pitches your song to programmers at genre-matched radio stations, features it across the platform, and then does the part nobody else does: every play detected across 6,700+ monitored stations appears on your public track page with the station, date and time. Campaigns from $149. No guaranteed airplay — the stations decide, and you see what they did.

What a song promotion service actually does

"Song promotion" covers five different jobs, and most companies on this search page sell one or two of them. Before you pay anyone, know which job you are buying — and how you will check that it was done.

Radio is the one channel with a public, third-party record of the outcome — which is why it is the channel SpinCounts built around. If you mainly want playlist streams or TikTok creators, a playlist- or creator-pitching platform is the better first purchase; we say so in the FAQ below.

How a SpinCounts campaign works

  1. 1
    Paste your Spotify track link

Title, artist and artwork fill in from the official metadata. Add the audio file if you have it so a station that adds you can pull it straight into its playlist. Checkout takes a few minutes; a free SpinCounts account is created with your email.

  2. 2
Your song goes live on the platform

Once reviewed, your track is featured in the Campaign Spotlight on the homepage and boosted across charts, search and genre pages for the whole term — in front of the DJs, programmers and listeners already browsing airplay data.

  3. 3
Programmers at genre-matched stations get the pitch

Your song is presented to programmers of stations we monitor that match your genre and format, with a one-sheet built from your campaign page. They decide. Nobody can honestly promise you a rotation add, and we don't.

  4. 4
Every detected play shows up — publicly

When a monitored station plays your song, the spin lands on your public track page with the station, date and time. You also get a weekly airplay report by email and a Live Link — the full 7-day station-by-station spin grid, public and self-updating for the campaign.

How you verify it — before, during and after

This is the part to test on any song promotion service, ours included. Ask: when the service says my song was played, how would I know? Here is our answer.

  • Before you spend anything — search your artist or song name. If a monitored station has already played you, the spins are on your public page right now, no account needed. You'll know the baseline you are promoting from.
  • During the campaign — each play we detect is posted with its station and timestamp. Of the plays we logged in a 48-hour sample (September 2026), 46 % were posted within an hour and 99 % within four hours (how we measured that).
  • After it ends — the plays stay on your page. A free account gives you unlimited PDF airplay reports with the station-by-station breakdown and the airplay map, for your label, your PRO paperwork or your next pitch.
  • What we don't claim — we monitor a panel of stations, not every station on earth, and coverage is U.S.-focused. A play on a station outside the panel will not appear. That is stated on our methodology page, not buried in terms.

For context, prices published by other services (their own figures, read on September 22, 2026): playlist and social campaigns from the two largest sellers start at $249–$399 and "from $280"; curator-pitching platforms charge a few dollars per curator or station contacted; a European radio plugger lists €499 per single; agency radio campaigns are commonly quoted at $1,500 to $5,000+ per single for six to eight weeks, and several services on this search page show no price at all until you sign up. SpinCounts sits between the pitch platforms and the agencies, and is the only option in that range that publishes the resulting plays.

Campaigns run for the full term and are not refundable once the track goes live. There is no per-spin pricing and no pay-for-placement on our charts — chart positions come from detected plays only. Radio outreach and playlist submissions do not guarantee airplay or placement. Commercial broadcasts are offered through participating stations.

Who this is for — and who should buy something else

A good fit

  • Independent artists with a finished, distributed single who want radio plays they can prove
  • Managers, labels and promoters who need a verifiable log for clients and PRO filings
  • Artists already getting a few spins who want programmers in their format to hear the record
  • Anyone burned by "guaranteed airplay" offers who wants a public, checkable outcome

Not the right first purchase

  • You mainly want Spotify playlist streams — use a playlist-pitching platform first
  • You want TikTok creator videos — a creator marketplace does that job
  • Your song isn't released or has no Spotify link yet — release first, then promote
  • You need a guarantee — no honest radio service can give one

Promote your song for free first

Paid promotion works better on a song that already has a page, a claim and a baseline. All of this is free:

  1. Add your music — paste a Spotify or Apple Music link and your artist and track pages are created in under a minute.
  2. Claim your artist page — add your links and bio, and get a shareable Airplay Card for your socials.
  3. Pitch stations yourself using what the data tells you — our guide on using airplay data to promote your song covers who to contact and what to say.
  4. Run the free radio promotion checklist before any campaign, paid or not.

How to judge any song promotion service in five questions

  • Who decides whether my song gets played? If the answer is "we do", it is advertising, not promotion. Programmers should decide.
  • How will I see the outcome? A screenshot from the seller is not proof. Look for a third-party or public log with station names and times.
  • Is airplay "guaranteed"? Guaranteed spins usually means a paid slot on a station nobody listens to, or plays that never happen. Treat it as a red flag. Even the largest playlist-promotion seller says so on its own page: "no genuine promo service can" guarantee placements (read September 22, 2026).
  • Is the price on the page? Hidden pricing and "call for a quote" are common on this search page. Ours is above.
  • What happens to the data afterwards? Reports that expire or live behind a login are worth less than a public page you can link from your EPK a year later.

Song promotion FAQs

What is a song promotion service?

A company or platform you pay to get a song in front of people who can play, feature or share it — radio programmers, playlist curators, video creators, bloggers or ad audiences. The services differ mostly in which of those channels they cover and in how you can check that the work happened. SpinCounts is a radio-first service that also publishes the resulting plays.

What does a SpinCounts campaign actually do?

Four things for the whole term: your track is featured in the Campaign Spotlight on the homepage and boosted across charts, search and genre pages; it is pitched to programmers at genre-matched stations we monitor; every play we detect is posted on your public track page with station, date and time; and you receive a weekly airplay report plus a Live Link showing the 7-day station-by-station spin grid.

Do you guarantee radio airplay?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. Program directors and DJs decide what goes into rotation. What we guarantee is the pitch, the platform placement, and an honest public record of every play our network detects — including zero, if that is what happened.

How much does song promotion cost?

SpinCounts campaigns start at $149 for the one-month Radio Blast and run to $1,299 for the 4-month Ultimate Airplay & Commercial Exposure package; the full table is on this page and prices come straight from checkout. Elsewhere, per-pitch platforms charge a few dollars per curator or station and agency radio campaigns are commonly quoted in the low thousands per single (prices as published by those companies on September 22, 2026).

How do I know my song was actually played?

Every play detected across 6,700+ monitored stations is posted on your public track page with the station name, date and time — anyone with the link can check it, no login. A free account adds unlimited PDF airplay reports, and every campaign includes a Live Link with the full 7-day station grid.

Do you promote to Spotify playlists, TikTok creators or blogs?

Every campaign is radio plus on-platform promotion. From the two-month package up we add Spotify playlist submissions to analyzed, genre-specific playlists and social media support; the four-month package adds on-air radio commercials on participating stations with listener analytics. Playlist submissions do not guarantee placement. If playlist streams or creator videos are your main goal, a dedicated playlist- or creator-pitching platform is the better first purchase, and you can still track any radio play that results here for free.

Can I promote my song for free?

Yes. Adding your music, claiming your artist page, the Airplay Card, airplay reports and looking up any song are all free. Paid campaigns add the homepage Spotlight, the station pitch and the Live Link; the free tools are how you set the baseline before you spend.

What do I need to start a campaign?

A released song with a Spotify track link, an email address for receipts and weekly reports, and optionally the audio file (MP3, WAV or M4A) so stations can download it. There is no application or approval fee; campaigns are reviewed before they go live.

Which genres do you promote?

Any genre with a home on radio. Pitches go to stations matched to your genre and format, and SpinCounts publishes sixteen weekly genre airplay charts — from hip hop and country to Latin, Christian, dance and rock — so you can see what your format is playing before you pitch.

How fast do plays show up on my page?

Of the plays we logged in a 48-hour sample in September 2026, 46 % were posted within an hour and 99 % within four hours of airing. Plays on stations outside our monitored panel do not appear at all — we say so plainly rather than promise every spin.

Is radio promotion still worth it?

For an artist with a finished record, radio is still the one promotion channel with a public, third-party log of the result, a path to programmers and DJs who add songs to rotation, and performance royalties for songwriters through the PROs. It is not the right first spend if streams or short-video reach is the only goal. See the current campaigns or search your song first — the baseline is free.

Promotion you can check, not just hope for

Search your song, see the baseline, then decide whether a campaign is worth it.
